1986 – Steve Winwood released “Back in the High Life.”

1994 – Pearl Jam’s Stone Gossard and Jeff Ament testified at a congressional hearing on escalating concert ticket prices.

1996 – Neil Young gave fans a taste of his album Broken Arrow over the Internet.

2000 – The Rolling Stones’ Ronnie Wood checked into a London rehab clinic for alcohol abuse.
