1969 – The Rolling Stones’ Brian Jones was found dead in his swimming pool at his home in Hartfield, England. Some say he was murdered.

1971 – The Doors frontman Jim Morrison died in Paris at the age of 27.

1975 – Chuck Negron of Three Dog Night was arrested for possession of cocaine.

1995 – Stone Temple Pilots frontman Scott Weiland pled innocent to drug charges.
