‘The Walking Dead’ Companion Series Casts Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey

The Walking Dead‘s companion series is picking up steam! In addition to recently announcing where the show will be filmed, we now have our first 2 confirmed cast members of the series, Frank Dillane and Alycia Debnam Carey, according to Deadline.

Harry Potter fans may recognize Dillane as young Tom Riddle from Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince, but both he and his new co-star Alycia are relatively fresh faces. Alycia most recently starred in Into the Storm opposite Walking Dead alum Sarah Wayne Callies.

The new series was rumored to be  filmed in Pennsylvania, but AMC is now denying it. It will follow an entirely new group of survivors, in a new location, during the zombie apocalypse.

Robert Kirkman, the co-creator of the comic book series, and Dave Erickson will co-create the companion series and Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert are also on board as executive producers with Erickson serving as showrunner.
