Grenier, who admits he is a “denim guy”, tells People.com, “This is my first fashion campaign, so when Buffalo approached me I was really excited to work with them.”
The new role also gave the actor the chance to work on his passion project, the documentary 52: The Search for the Loneliest Whale in the World, thanks to financing from Buffalo bosses through their Blank Check Series, which offers artists funding to create engaging content.
He tells WWD, “I would never want to be ‘the model guy,’ but I really was very excited they actually wanted to do something beyond a fashion campaign. I helped cast my co-star and helped choose the photographer as well.”
52: The Search for the Loneliest Whale in the World follows filmmakers’ search for the 52 Hertz Whale, which is believed to spend its entire life in solitude.
