‘Finding Dory’ Poster Reveals What Happened to Forgetful Fish After ‘Finding Nemo’

Finding-Dory-1

The Finding Nemo sequel Finding Dory has been in the works for a while and now fans finally have their first look at the movie!

The follow-up to the 2003 film will focus on Dory, the sweet blue reef fish with short-term memory loss, as she tries to find her way back home this time. Ellen Degeneres will return to voice the character, whose “story involves an ocean sanctuary facility where wounded animals are treated and re-released into the wild.”(via EW)

“I wanted to know that if this charming forgetful fish ever got lost again, that she would be okay, that she would find her way home,” Finding Nemo director Andrew Stanton previously said at this year’s D23 Expo. “And at the end of Finding Nemo, I wasn’t confident about that. So that’s when I knew I had another story.”
