Adam McKay May Direct ‘The Boys’

Adam McKay (Step Brothers) is in discussions to direct the film adaptation of Garth Ennis’s comic book ‘The Boys’. The comic book series, written by Ennis (Preacher) and illustrated by Darick Robertson (Wolverine) is an extremely violent story set in a world with superpowers. ‘The Boys’ is the nickname of a super-powered CIA squad whose primary job is to keep watch on the superheroes, and, if necessary, intimidate or kill them.

Sony Pictures is producing the film, which was written by Matt Manfredi and Phil Hay (Aeon Flux).
