Writers Hired for ‘Karate Kid’ Sequel


According to a report, ‘Kung Fu Panda’ writers Cyrus Voris and Ethan Reiff have signed on to write the sequel to ‘The Karate Kid’.

In addition to the animated flick, Voris and Reiff also worked on the TV shows ‘Brimstone’ and ‘Sleeper Cell’. The first film, which was remake of the 1984 classic, starred Jackie Chan and Jaden Smith. Will Smith produced and the movie has made close to $300 million worldwide.
