Weekend Box Office Report: ‘The Grey’ Exceeds Expectations
Liam Neeson’s The Grey exceeded expectations to take the top spot at the box office this weekend opening at #1 with $20.0 million. Underworld Awakening slipped one spot to #2 in its second week with $12.5 million. Katherine Heigl’s One for the Money opened in #3 with $11.8 million. Lucasfilm’s Red Tails fell two spots to #4 in its second week with $10.4 million. Sam Worthington’s Man on a Ledge disappointed, opening at #5 with $8.3 million.
