5 Reasons You Need the ‘Outlander’ Season 6 DVD Set!

Outlander Season 6

Outlander Season 6 is officially out on DVD! And as fans wait for the new season to premiere, this DVD set has all you need to hold you over till Season 7!

Season 6 continued Claire and Jamie’s quest to protect their loved ones as the American Revolutionary War looms in the not-so-distant future. And while there is no shortage of love in the Fraser household, life never goes smoothly for the family.

This season was no exception as we see the aftermath of the horrific events from Season 5. Between Claire’s attempts at coping with the trauma from her assault to addiction issues and a dysentery epidemic spreads, the season leaves us with not only rising political tensions in the colonies – but also Richard Brown bringing Claire in for the Murder of his brother, Lionel Brown.

Needless to say, there was no shortage of heartache and drama in Outlander Season 6. However, that’s not what we’re focused on with the DVD release! The Blu-Ray set not only allows you to relive your favorite moments from the Season but there are also some geek-out-worthy special features exclusive to the Blu-Ray version!

So why do you need to pick up the Outlander Season 6 DVD Set? Here are the top 5 reasons.

5. Outlander Season 6 Episode Commentaries

Episode commentaries are one of the best ways to watch your favorite TV shows. As actors, writers, and directors dive into what all went into making an episode.

Fans can look forward to episode commentaries on Episode 2 “Allegiance”, Episode 4 “Hour of the Wolf”, Episode 6 “The World Turned Upside Down”, and Episode 8 “I’m Not Alone.”

4. Outlander Season 6 Deleted Scenes

While Outlander doesn’t have a strict timing it has to meet for each episode the way traditional cable shows do, there’s still the need to cut scenes from time to time. Perhaps, when watching an episode back, a scene feels unneeded or no longer relevant. Whatever the reason may be, it’s interesting to look back at deleted scenes to speculate why they were removed from an episode.

Fans can look forward to deleted scenes on Episode 2 “Allegiance”, Episode 4 “Hour of the Wolf”, Episode 6 “The World Turned Upside Down”, and Episode 8 “I’m Not Alone.”

Additionally, there are two Outlander Untold Scenes with Episode 2 as well. If you’re not familiar with Outlander Untold, it’s been something that fans have loved since the show’s fourth season. These scenes are ones that were written and filmed specifically as extra content. It’s an excellent way to dive a little bit more depth into the story.
