AMC Releases New Photos from ‘The Walking Dead’ Mid-Season Premiere

0

AMC has released 5 new photos from The Walking Dead mid-season premiere episode, and fans may be hoping that they tease a little bit more than they actually do.

We last left everyone with Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and the rest of the crew covered in walker guts in attempts to sneak past the walkers, which has worked well in the past – when they haven’t had Jessie’s son with them saying, “Mom,” over and over again and drawing attention to the them.

The second group, Daryl (Norman Reedus), Sasha (Sonequa Martin-Green) and Abraham (Michael Cudlitz), were all stopped on the road on their way back to Alexandria. This motorcycle gang provided the first tease of Negan’s arrival (who will be played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan), and if you’re a fan of the comics, you know exactly what that means.

The previously released mid-season trailer showcased a rather bloody return for the series, and once again fans of the graphic novels probably have a pretty good idea at exactly what’s going to go down.

Take a look at the new photos from mid-season premiere below.

So we can’t tell much from the photos. The images of Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham don’t look much different than we last remember seeing them in the mid-season finale. The photo of Father Gabriel (Seth Gilliam) is pretty non-descriptive as well aside from there being some moisture (which we think we can likely assume is blood) on his shoulders. Do you think these images tease anything more than we’re seeing?
